Hi SELS Community,

Congratulations on a successful first day and start to the 2011-12 school year. Very exciting to have all the students and energy back on campus.

Some info to share:
– Busing will be a little crazy for a week or so; please bear with us and know that Transportation works really hard to try and make sure all students have access.

– Friday morning: 8:45 Coffee House (coffee and pastries provided; please bring your own mug) – time for parents to gather and chat -outside of M-2 (we will need to stay near the gate as the McMains Crew will be in class)

– Friday morning: 9:15-9:45 Community Meeting (following Coffee House) – please come/stay and see how students start each day

– Enrollment Information: a number of you still need to return Immunization/health forms, birth certificates, and/or proof of residence (utility bill). Could you please try to get to this by early next week – we are happy to make copies here as needed.

Reminder: Back to School Night is Thurs, Sept 15. Because there are families with multiple students enrolled, we stagger the start times:

  • K/1 – 6 pm
  • 2/3 – 6:30 pm
  • 4/5/6 – 7 pm

These meetings are held in the classrooms and are very informative; please plan on attending. These are parent only meetings – sorry.

Reminder: No School Monday, Sept 5 – Labor Day
