Matter Hunt: We kicked off our Expedition with a MATTER HUNT last Wednesday with our 6th grade buddies in the McMains Crew. Students explored the campus looking for evidence of matter around the school. They kids and their buddies had a great time looking for different examples of matter.
Question of the Week: What are the 3 states of matter and give an example of each? How does one substance go from one state to another?
Science Lab: Following our Matter Hunt with our 6h grade buddies, we experimented with different forms of matter in the classroom, looking closely at liquid with water droppers, making OOBLECK and GLOOP. It was messy fun.
TIE-DYE Lab Coats: Thanks to everyone for sending in button down white oxford shirts. The kids are excited to use these shirts as Lab Coats. This Friday, February 17th, we will be tie-dying these shirts. I need many hands to help with this project. If you are available Friday afternoon, dress-down in your paint clothes and come join the fun.
