Hi all,

Hope the break was nice and relaxing. Looks like we may finally have some winter snow after all…. Please make sure you child comes with the appropriate winter/snow clothing.

I will be out of the office Tuesday and Wednesday this week at a conference in Sacramento. Zach Williams will be around Tuesday and Adam Krusi-Thom on Wednesday if you need help with anything.

Our Student Council elections are today and those selected with be announced at Community Meeting on Friday.

Other announcements:

  • Please check out our new website. Adam Krusi-Thom and SunMie Won put in a lot of time, and with the help of many others, have designed a very nice and user friendly site.

  • Our middle school configuration meeting needed to be changed due to snow (imagine that). The meeting will now happen at 5:30 pm on Thurs, March 1 in room M-4. (Apologies for the time conflict with the next announcement, but we needed this meeting before our March 5 Board Meeting).

  • Tahoe Safe Alliance and Place County Sheriff will be presenting an information night to parents and staff on Cyberbullying. Issues, trends and what is happening in our local community will be addressed. Thursday March 1, 2012, Kings Beach Elementary, 6:00pm – 7:00pm.

  • Information meetings for 2012-13 enrollment are being scheduled. Please send any interested friends/neighbors to our website.
