Angelica Stone is a native of Chile and has lived locally since 1996. She was one of the founding parents of SELS and has been the community liaison for our local Spanish speakers since the school began in 2010. Angelica loves having the opportunity to be a staff member and share Spanish acquisition with younger students. She is the Spanish-English Interpreter/Translator of SELS.

Angelica loves teaching and working with kids, she taught Spanish at Lengua Viva and Papoose preschool in Truckee, and at TLE (Tahoe Lake Elementary) in Tahoe City before coming to SELS. Angelica grew up in Santiago, Chile where she studied computer programming. She has also taught skiing in several local ski areas for more than 10 years. Angelica lives in Truckee with her husband Chris and daughter Sophia. You can find Angelica and her family hiking, skiing, camping and enjoying the local music venues. She feels lucky to call this great community and beautiful area home.
