Hi all,
Hope all are enjoying this beautiful sunshine. Students seem to dress appropriately for early Nov: t-shirts and shorts – ha.
Many thanks for all the great work behind the Bear Walk – a very successful tradition for us. Lots of parents showed up to help with refreshments, lap marking, and share their support. Fun day for everyone!
Want to learn more about Expeditionary Learning and your child’s classroom experience, please join us for an evening of EL 101: this Thursday, Nov 8 from 6-7:30 pm in M-4. This workshop is for adults only – please come ready to participate.
I spent 3 days last week at an EL Leadership Conference. Learned much, reconnected with other Principals from all over the Western US, and learned how well positioned we are for the change from CA state standards to Common Core State Standards (which is happening over the next 2 yrs). We belong to a great community of educators.
